Legal Agreement: Membership Cancellation Policy
Agora Coworking - Cancelation Policy
At Agora Coworking, we understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your membership or reservation. We strive to provide a fair and transparent cancellation policy to ensure the best experience for all our members.
Please read the following cancellation policy details:
1. Cancellation Window:
a. Daily Passes and Hourly Reservations: You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your booking without any penalty.
b. Monthly Memberships: Monthly members are required to provide a cancellation notice at least 10 days before the start of the next billing cycle. Failure to do so will result in the automatic renewal of your membership for the following month.
c. Fixed-Term Memberships: Fixed-term memberships are commitments for a specific duration, such as six months or one year. Cancellation of fixed-term memberships before the agreed-upon term will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the remaining membership fees. To cancel a fixed-term membership, a written notice of cancellation must be provided at least 30 days prior to the desired cancellation date.
2. Cancellation Procedure:
a. To cancel your reservation or membership, please contact our Agora Coworking team either in person, via email, or by phone. Provide your name, booking details, and reason for cancellation.
3. Refunds and Credits:
a. Daily Passes and Hourly Reservations: If you cancel your reservation within the allowed cancellation window, you will receive a full refund or credit for future bookings, based on your preference.
b. Fixed-Term Memberships: Cancellation of fixed-term memberships before the agreed-upon term will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the remaining membership fees.
c. Credit Card Transaction Fee: Please be aware that refunds for credit card payments will not include the credit card transaction fee. This fee is charged by the credit card company and is non-refundable. The refunded amount will be the membership or reservation fee minus the credit card transaction fee.
4. No-Shows:
a. If you fail to show up for your reservation without prior cancellation notification, you will be considered a "no-show."
b.No-shows for daily and weekly passes will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
c. Monthly members who are deemed as no-shows for their scheduled bookings may be subject to penalties, including the suspension of booking privileges or additional fees.
5. Modification and Rescheduling:
a. If you need to modify or reschedule your reservation, we will make every effort to accommodate your request based on availability.
b. Changes made within the allowed cancellation window will be processed without any penalties or fees.
c. Please note that modification or rescheduling requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
6. Security Deposits:
a. Agora Coworking may require a security deposit upon membership sign-up to cover any potential damages or outstanding balances.
b. If a member cancels their membership and there are no damages or outstanding balances, the security deposit will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation date.
c. Agora Coworking reserves the right to deduct any outstanding balances or charges for damages from the security deposit before issuing a refund.
d. If there are damages or outstanding balances that exceed the security deposit amount, the member will be responsible for covering the remaining balance.
7. Force Majeure:
a. Agora Coworking reserves the right to waive or modify the cancellation policy in case of force majeure events such as natural disasters, government mandates, or other unforeseen circumstances.
